My journey into the world of interior design began quite unexpectedly. Growing up, I was always fascinated by the way spaces could transform with a few thoughtful touches. My mother had a knack for decorating our home, and I would spend hours watching her rearrange furniture, paint walls, and add little details that made our house feel warm and inviting. However, it wasn't until my college years that I realized this passion could become a fulfilling career.

I initially pursued a degree in business, thinking it was the practical choice. During my sophomore year, I moved into my first apartment. The blank, uninspiring walls and mismatched furniture felt cold and unwelcoming. Determined to make the space my own, I began experimenting with colors, textures, and layouts. Friends who visited often complimented my design choices and even asked for my advice on decorating their own spaces.

One pivotal moment came when a close friend asked me to help redesign her entire living room. We spent weeks picking out furniture, choosing color schemes, and sourcing unique decor pieces. The transformation was incredible, and seeing her joy and satisfaction with the final result sparked something inside me. It was then that I realized my true calling.

Encouraged by my friends and family, I decided to switch my major to interior design. I immersed myself in my studies, learning everything from the principles of design to the history of architecture. I took on every opportunity to gain practical experience, interning with established designers and taking on small projects for friends and local businesses.

Upon graduating, I started my own interior design blog, "Cozy Nest Chronicles," to share my journey, tips, and ideas with a broader audience. The blog quickly gained traction, and I was able to connect with a community of like-minded individuals who shared my passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces. This platform allowed me to showcase my work and eventually led to my first professional clients.

Today, I run my own interior design business, helping people transform their homes into spaces that reflect their personalities and lifestyles. Each project is a new adventure, and I am continually inspired by the endless possibilities that interior design offers. My journey into this field may have started unexpectedly, but it has been the most rewarding and fulfilling path I could have imagined.
